Where to go at night in Cala d'Or

Cala d'Or is a quiet resort, especially in comparison to the likes of Palma and Magaluf. This is just one of many reasons why it's a beloved destination choice for couples and families – and anyone who yearns for sunshine and tranquillity. And when it comes to night-time pursuits, this coastal village offers a good number of fine options.

As part of your holiday preparations, be sure to pre-book our Cala d'Or airport transfers. Our airport shuttle service will provide you with one less thing to worry about when you arrive. We offer a great range of transfer options: from shared shuttles to private cars, minibuses and wheelchair friendly vehicles, all at great prices and to take you to your resort in comfort.

Bar culture

The centre of this coastal resort has a good range of bars to choose from, most of which open until 1.00am. The much-frequented Quarterdeck Café Bar on Avinguda de Cala Llonga, for example, serves a wide range of refreshing cocktails. Alternatively, Kalypsotuttifrutti on Avenida de Bélgica also offers a good selection of cocktails. Another popular Cala d'Or haunt is bijou Bar Chapeau, which is located at Carrer de Santanyí, and is a friendly place to enjoy a cool drink. For a more traditional pub ambience, you could try Jolly Roger at Carrer d'en Perico Pomar, which serves English-style grub and a wide choice of accompanying drinks.

Music and merrymaking

On Carrer de Sa Marina, you'll find Betty's Music Bar, whose karaoke sessions typically run till midnight. This lively, family-friendly establishment often plays host to live acts, too. Bongos – on Carrer de Sa Marina – is another much-loved establishment that is known for the warm welcome it provides to its patrons. If you like good music, a fun atmosphere and, perhaps, a game of pool or a round of darts, give it a try.

Eating out in the evening

If you fancy sampling some fine Mediterranean fare, give Churchill's Tapas Bar a visit. This vegetarian-friendly establishment provides vegan options, too. Sited on Avinguida de Cala Llonga, Churchills prepares such tasty treats as smoked duck breast served with mango chunks that have been marinated in lime, coriander and chilli. La Vermuteria, on Carrer Calonge, cooks up an array of Iberian gourmet delights, including all manner of freshly-cooked seafood dishes.

A good many of 17 Restaurant & Bar's visitors have commented that it prepares the best food around. We'll leave you to decide if that's the case or not but it has to be said, dishes such as fillet steak, grilled goat cheese salad and chorizo burger do sound tempting.
