The hotel was fine. It was basic but clean and acceptable for a pre holiday one night stay. The main disadvantage is the location. There is no courtesy transport and the walk to the airport terminal is along narrow, rough pavements. The duty attendant organised a taxi for us so we didn't have to walk along unlit pavements in the rain which we were grateful for.

Getting to the airport
The Travelodge is a short 10-minute walk from the terminal.
Directions and a postcode for satnavs will be on your booking confirmation.
Check in is from 3pm, check out is by 12 noon.
Parking
Parking at Sentinel car park for the duration of your trip is included. Drop your car off at the car park first - you'll need to leave your keys with reception, as your car will be parked for you.
Then, take the 2-minute shuttle to the terminal, where the hotel is. The journey is included in the price.
The car park has CCTV, security fencing and lighting, and is manned around the clock.
Electric vehicle charging
Sentinel parking will fully charge your car £3.50 - you can pay the car park directly when you arrive.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period if flights are delayed, this is at their discretion. If the delay is for another reason, you'll be charged the car park's standard daily rate of £3 per day. This is subject to change.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2.2m entry barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m). If you park a large van you'll be charged an extra £10.
