Smoking is only allowed in sign-posted outdoor zones or in the three enclosed, ventilated smoking rooms inside the terminal. Fines may be issued for lighting up elsewhere.
Outdoor Smoking Zones (Before Security)
You'll find sheltered areas with ash bins directly outside every entrance on both the Arrivals and Departures levels – perfect if you prefer to smoke before checking in.
Indoor Smoking Rooms (After Security)
Pier A – Gate A30
The most convenient booth for Schengen passengers. Location: Topaz Platform, next to Bar Rouge and near Gate A30.
Pier A – Gates A/T65-67
This lounge sits in the non-Schengen section used by Africa & USA flights until roughly 14:00. Schengen passengers can only reach it once that area re-opens mid-afternoon, so plan accordingly.

E-Cigarettes & Vapes
Vaping follows the same rules as traditional cigarettes – vape only in the designated smoking rooms or outdoors.
Duty-Free Tobacco
If you plan to buy duty-free cigarettes, the main shops are opposite Gate A42 and on the Pier B shopping street. Check allowances for your destination before purchase.
