Everything went well (apart from trying to find the pick up point in the airport.) But the return journey was chaotic and the driver in my opinion did not keep us safe. He was speeding and tailgating. Otherwise it went well and everything happened as expected.

I was very impressed with our airport pickups . They were on time and messaged us to keep us informed. The taxi driver on the return journey was excellent even used his phone to translate conversations, we had a great return journey. Totally recommend booking transfers.

Too many times now the transfer driver is not paying g 100% attention to driving!
This one was catching up with paperwork as he was driving!
We have also in the past had drivers on their phones making calls and texting and driving above the speed limits.
They can do all of these things in their own time, even though illegal, but they should not do it when carrying paying customers.
This is clearly not an issue in Italy, but drivers need to be aware that other nationals are not comfortable with it.

Our drivers were wonderful. They communicated with us to keep us updated on their arrival. They both arrived early, getting us to where we needed to be in good time. The driving was excellent. The second driver even searched his van for my son’s lost soft toy and texted me an apology that he couldn’t find it. I would definitely book this service again.

The transfers went fairly well. The driving in Italy generally is scary stuff, and on the way to Rome the driver was running late so I was glad to reach our destination in one piece! Good communication with drivers on WhatsApp with translate. All went fairly well.

The driver was ready and waiting. The only unexpected aspect of the transfer was the distance to where the car/van was parked and the speed at which the driver walked there.
The return transfer was less successful. The driver was unexpectedly 20 min early. He wasn’t the driver whom we’d been told to expect or in the car we were told to expect. Having said that the journey itself went without any problems.

I will play was like at Rome and we couldn’t find the taxi man and then a man at the airport said this was a taxi but won’t we got in it? We realise when we got to the other end it wasn’t because he charged us €85, but the taxi on the way back was fine.

Excellent information ahead of our trip, with details of what to do if anything went wrong, which was very re-assuring. Our driver messaged us as soon as we landed and gave us clear instruction as to where to meet him in the airport arrivals, then he drove expertly through the Rome traffic to our hotel. Similarly, the driver for our transfer from hotel to airport messaged us well in advance, arrived on time and took us to the airport. An excellent service that really made our holiday hassle-free on arrival and departure.

We felt very sorry for the driver at Rome airport as it took us over 45 minutes to clear passport control. Maybe some extra time needs to be built in to the pickup time for non EU customers. Once we eventually met up the transfer was efficient and we were delivered safely to our hotel.
The return was on time and got us back to the airport in very good time for our return journey
