More flights from easyJet
Low-cost carrier easyJet has said that it will launch a host of new routes this autumn, including several linking the UK with popular destinations.
The airline revealed that it will begin operating a three-times weekly service between London Gatwick and Sofia on November 6th.
A statement from easyJet read: "[This] reflects the airline's continued commitment to growth in central [and] eastern Europe and follows the recent announcement that the airline will also enter the Romanian market as well as the introduction of routes to Gdansk in Poland."
In addition, the company revealed that it plans to start offering flights from Liverpool to Innsbruck to give people access to the Austrian ski resorts.
This new route will operate three times a week and will launch on January 8th.
Finally from the UK, easyJet will launch flights from Liverpool to Lisbon on November 2nd.
Outside of the UK, the airline is planning routes to Marrakech from Geneva, Milan and Basel. It will also start flights between Basel and Oporto.
easyJet recently simplified its baggage allowances. Now passengers pay £2 per item of luggage checked in.
