2008 flights on sale already
Low-cost carrier Jet2 has revealed that it will increase the frequency of flights from Belfast and Newcastle to winter sun destinations in August.
The budget airline said that it would add extra flights from Belfast to Barcelona and Malaga over the winter.
A statement from the airline explained the decision, saying that the extra flights will give consumers "more chance to catch some winter sun".
In addition, Jet2 said that extra flights from Newcastle to Murcia would give UK holidaymakers "more opportunity to top up your tan".
Finally, the no-frills airline announced that it was putting on sale eight summer 2008 routes from Belfast to give people the chance to book early and make substantial savings on next year's holiday.
Passengers can now book tickets for 2008 for flights from the Northern Irish hub to popular holiday destinations like Barcelona, Ibiza, Malaga, Prague and Tenerife.
Based in Leeds, Jet2 offers flights from five UK hubs to 34 destinations in the UK and 12 countries in Europe.
