to the airport
Holidays should be easy going - and it doesn't get much easier than Long Stay Car Park. Not only is it the closest long stay car park to the terminal at Cardiff airport - just five minutes' walk in fact - they also run a free shuttle bus if you want to save your feet. The car park has tip-top security too, including CCTV, regular staff patrols and entry and exit barriers. So not only is it easy going, you get to rest easy while you're away too.
Everything was completely fine until I got back to the airport. I walked out of the terminal and over to my car only to find that it had a flat battery. I spent about 3/4 of an hour trying to find someone who had got a pair of jump leads to start my car and unbelievably, not one person that I asked who was working either in one of the car parks or the airport itself had anything or any access to anything that would help me to get my car started. After a while, I spotted two police officers in a Range Rover so I rushed over to them and they very kindly gave me a push and the car started immediately. What a pair of absolute stars they were that morning.Mr Marshall (Long Stay)

Need to know
Long Stay has a super convenient location right on the airport grounds - just a short walk to the terminal once you've parked. It's great for travellers with reduced mobility too, with dedicated assistance on hand at all times.
When you arrive the barrier will rise automatically, allowing you to drive in and park. Then you just need to take the 5-minute walk to the terminal, keeping your keys with you while you're away.
Long Stay car park does not have any accessible parking bays so we recommend taking a look at the Meet and Greet which is closer for those with reduced mobility.
There is a Special Assistance call point which is linked to the terminal's service desk and a sheltered area where you can wait for them to meet you if you need it.
The car park is secured by:
- Entry and exit barriers
- Regular staff patrols
The small print
Government regulations require passengers at the airport to wear a face covering. Remember to bring a face covering and have it on before you get there. You'll need one for each member of your party.
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of 2 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £10 per day. This is subject to change.
Help us go green! There's no need to print out your booking confirmation, just show it on your mobile device.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
