Need to know

Drive to the barrier where your number plate will be recognised and you'll be given a ticket. The entry barrier will lift automatically, so you can drive in and park in any space - keep hold of your keys while you're away.

From the car park take the included shuttle bus to the terminal. It runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day and the journey takes 10 minutes.

On your return catch the shuttle bus back to the car park from the terminal. Collect your car and drive to the exit barrier, insert your ticket into the machine and the barrier will lift automatically.

Accessibility

The car park's shuttle buses are wheelchair-friendly and there are designated Blue Badge bays. They are on a first come, first served basis. You'll need to display your badge while you're away.

The car park is Park Mark awarded and secured by:

  • Entry and exit barriers

The small print

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of 6 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £10 per day, which is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Arriving at the car park

Returning to the car park

On your return catch the shuttle bus back to the car park from the terminal. Collect your car and drive to the exit barrier, insert your ticket into the machine and the barrier will lift automatically. If there are any issues press the intercom button for assistance and quote your reference.

Only problems we had were that the number plate recognition did not work either on entering or leaving the car park. Plus there was a serious lack of buses on the return journey as we had to wait outside for more than 40 minutes due to the queues.
