Is there disabled parking at Manchester Airport?

Yes, Manchester Airport has disabled parking options across all three of its terminals, ensuring access for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility. There are designated Blue Badge parking bays and assistance is available in car parks, including Long Stay, Short Stay and Multi-Storey. Designated disabled parking spaces are located closer to terminal entrances for added convenience, ensuring access to the check-in desks is more manageable.

Manchester Airport also offers accessible shuttle services and other assistance for those with reduced mobility. Ideal for longer trips, the Long Stay car parks feature disabled parking spaces and complimentary shuttle buses, with wheelchair access, that run regularly to and from the terminals. Alternatively, the Multi-Storey car parks are located near each terminal and offer convenient and covered parking spaces.

Holiday Extras offers a range of Manchester Airport Parking services with disabled parking options. Our Meet and Greet services are the most convenient option as customers can drive straight to the terminal where a driver will meet you and park your car in a secure location. This eliminates the need for a transfer to and from the car park!

Popular Official Meet and Greet parking services include Meet and Greet T1, Meet and Greet T2 and Meet and Greet T3.

Alternatively, JetParks provides Blue Badge parking within their car parks located just a short bus ride from the three terminals. The bus service is free of charge and is fully accessible to wheelchair users. This Park and Ride is a cheaper alternative to Valet parking and Blue Badge holders usually board the transfer bus before other passengers and are given seating priority with dedicated wheelchair points on board. The driver can also assist disabled passengers on and off the bus if required.

For passengers with disabilities, who would like to utilise Manchester Airport's assistance services for airport parking, it's advisable to book in advance. This includes help getting from your parking space to check-in areas.

While there isn't free long term parking available at Manchester Airport for disabled customers, passengers that hold a valid blue badge can access the forecourt areas, free of charge, for drop-off only. Just make sure your Blue Badge is displayed clearly.
