How Expensive is it to Travel in Costa Adeje?

On holiday in Costa Adeje you can expect a wealth of beaches, bright sunny days, warm evenings and a lot of relaxation. There's loads to experience both in and around the resort, too, from exhilarating excursions to leisurely visits to small towns and villages nearby. If you're wondering how expensive it is to travel in Costa Adeje, we have the answer. We've also got reasonably priced airport transfers to take you to destinations throughout Spain.

In Costa Adeje

To save some pennies when it comes to getting around, Costa Adeje is compact enough that most tourist sites and attractions can be reached on foot. A wander to Playa del Duque or Playa de Fañabé is made sweeter knowing it's free. However, most places in Tenerife use Bonobus cards, and this includes Costa Adeje. This is a bus card you can put money on whenever you need, and buying one for €15 saves about 30-50% on your fare. Hiring a car is a little more expensive, but it's not too bad. It's possible to hire a small car for around €25 a day, or if you need a roomier car for all the gang, it's around €25.

Outside Costa Adeje

Travelling to other Tenerife destinations means jumping back on the bus. Use your Bonobus card on trips to most neighbouring villages and attractions on the island-wide bus company, TITSA. The 111 runs to and from terminals in Santa Cruz and Playa de las Américas. Taxis in Costa Adeje are also plentiful. Fares are generally about €0.70 per mile during the day and about €1 per mile at night. Remember that if you're going to a popular attraction outside of Costa Adeje, arranging a pre-decided fare might be a good idea to avoid any complications.

Tours and day trips

A guided tour in Costa Adeje can help you really soak up the atmosphere. Depending on what you decide to do, these can range in price. A day trip to La Gomera hovers at around €67, a 4x4 jeep excursion is around €45, or smaller, more local trips like whale watching tours can be around €22. It's always a good idea to budget for an experience like this, as once you arrive you'll be blown away by how many options there are for exploring the region.

One thing you don't need to worry about is getting to and from the airport. Our Costa Adeje airport transfers provide cars and buses to make your arrival that bit easier.
