Terminal changes from 5 March 2026

Terminal changes:

Manchester Airport is changing to a simplified two-terminal layout, with Terminal 1 being renamed Terminal 3.

  • Terminal 2 – All airlines except Ryanair
  • Terminal 3 – Ryanair only

If you’re travelling from 5 March 2026, please double check your terminal before you set off.

There are two security areas in Manchester Airport Terminal 1 – Area B Departures, which is used by all Jet2 passengers except those travelling to Lanzarote, Malaga, Majorca and Tenerife (who need Terminal 2), and Main Departures on Level 5.

Fast Track is not available in Area B Departures at Terminal 1. If you'd like to use Fast Track, head up to Main Departures on Level 5 where you'll find the Fast Track lane.
