Family Holidays in Costa Adeje

Time away with the family to a sunny destination is a great way to spend the kids' school holidays. Costa Adeje has so much to offer, from exciting waterparks to beaches and dazzling seas to paddle in. At Holiday Extras we've had some ideas for what to do on family holidays in Costa Adeje that we know you'll enjoy. Another thing we know about are airport transfers. Ours pick you up after your flight lands and take you to resorts all over Spain.

Where to stay

Costa Adeje is well equipped with family-friendly hotels. Since it's right there in the name, try Tagoro Family & Fun. There's a kids' club, a splash pool and entertainment and shows to keep the little ones busy. If you're looking for adventure, one of the closest campsites is Camping Nauta, a 13-minute car journey away. It's got 40 cosy cabins or, if you're feeling outdoorsy, a large area for tents. Keep active at the swimming pool or sports area – tennis anyone? – and when it's dinnertime, there's an on-site restaurant and a supermarket.

Where to splash

Luckily, Costa Adeje has two waterparks to choose from right in the centre. There's Aqualand, a huge park filled with colourful slides, swirling flumes, rushing rapids and even a dolphinarium. Close by is Siam Park where you can spend the day on breath-taking rides, the wave machine and visit its sea lion island.

Where to sunbathe

Playa de Fañabé is the ideal beach for families. It has clear, calm waters for little paddlers and sand perfect for building castles. There are also lifeguards keeping watch, easy access for prams and buggies and restaurants that open straight onto the beach. Another popular choice is Playa de El Médano, a bustling beach which has lots of opportunities to try new activities.

Where to eat

Ted Ristobar is a family-run restaurant that's family friendly too. It's right next to the sea and offers bite-sized tapas, hearty paella and more family dishes for kids like lasagne and fish and chips. For dessert, don't forget Gelateria Fior di Latte where you'll find all flavours of gelato and huge sundaes to tuck into.

Now that you've got some ideas of what to do when you've arrived, remember to book one of ourCosta Adeje airport transfers. Go for a private car or maybe a shared shuttle bus to take you to your destination.
