Getting to the airport

The hotel is around 10 miles from the airport – a taxi takes around 30 minutes and costs about £45 each way, but prices do vary.

Parking

Parking at the hotel while you're away is included. There's plenty of room in the hotel car park so you won't struggle to find a space and you can keep your car keys.

Electric vehicle charging

The hotel has 13 E.ON electric chargers. They're on a first-come, first-served basis and you'll need to either download the E.ON app or you can pay as you go on the charge point.

Rooms are cosy and modern with bathrobes and slippers you can snuggle up in. Sink into your big comfy bed and relax with a proper brew in a proper size mug and fresh milk too (no UHT stuff here).

Whether you're craving a comforting plate of fish and chips or a juicy chargrilled steak, there's something for everyone. Look out for the weekly specials and save room for dessert – with choices like crème brulee, tarts and puddings you won't want to miss out.

There's a kids menu for children up to 12 with plenty to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. And if you have any dietary requirements make sure you let the team know – everything is cooked fresh so the chefs will do all they can for you.

Afternoon tea – Until 5pm

Indulge in a delicious afternoon tea with freshly made scones, cakes, and sandwiches paired with a selection of premium teas or speciality coffees. Afternoon tea is £30 or for a little bit more make it extra special with a glass of prosecco or Champagne.

Bar

Hotel bar and lounge – Open from 12 noon, food served until 6pm

Whether you're cosying up next to the log burner in winter or enjoying the fresh air on the terrace in the warmer months, the bar is the perfect place to unwind. Sip on local Thwaites Brewery IPAs, a selection of wines, or try one of their signature cocktails like the passionfruit martini.

For somewhere a little more laid back for a bite to eat there's also a lounge menu with plenty of delicious dishes throughout the day.
