Explore the beaches

Cala d'Or's coastline comprises a line-up of small beaches spread out for visitors to wander along, dipping in and out of the warm sea. When you'd like some peace and quiet, stop off at Cala Serena's rocky bay, or head to Cala Gran beach for a bustling atmosphere.

Eat well

Solo travellers have plenty to indulge in when it comes to Cala d'Or's culinary scene. Treat yourself to exclusivity with Port Petit's Mediterranean fusion, or, when you're looking for a more familiar meal, places like Molly's Irish Bistro & Pub will satisfy your pub grub cravings.

Learn about the culture

As a single traveller, you get to make your own itinerary, so if you're a bit of a culture vulture, Cala d'Or is for you. Check out the Museu Fundación Juan March to take in some contemporary art, including pieces by Miró, Picasso and Dalí. You can also wander to Es Forti, an 18th-century historic fort with plenty of heritage.

Get moving

Mondragó Natural Park is perfect for solo hikes. There are four routes to choose from, with beaches and wetlands along the way. You can also learn about the area's smuggling past as you go. There are cycling routes along the coast, too or, for more adventurous travellers, you can hire a mountain bike and follow the trails up into the hills.

Have fun

Since you only have to please yourself, you can let loose a little on a solo holiday. Aqualand El Arenal is a great place to embrace your playful side with water rides, thrilling flumes and plenty of pools to relax in. You can also go to La Reserva Puig Galatzó where there are opportunities to rock climb or traverse the zip lines and treetop bridges there.
