The Aspire Lounge at Terminal 1 is a calm and comfortable haven from the hustle and bustle of Manchester Airport. Generously equipped with comfortable seating areas, a bar and smart TVs, the Aspire Lounge at Manchester Airport is the departure lounge for passengers flying from Terminal 1. Kids are well catered for, too, with a special play area that has a TV and e-books. Children are charged at the same price as an adult entry.

Children permitted

Children are welcome in the lounge and those under 2 years old may enter for free. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Dresscode

The lounge has a smart casual dress code. Smart shorts, such as chino or cargo, sandals, trainers, non-sport tracksuits, hooded tops, T-Shirts and jeans are all accepted. They don't allow clothing such as vest tops for men, sporting team shirts, clothing with offensive slogans, clothing with sports branding baseball caps, tour shirts, fancy dress or onesies. Please be considerate of other guests and ensure your behaviour is reasonable at all times.

Food and drink

Whatever time of day you're flying, you can tuck into tasty food in the Aspire Lounge before your trip. Breakfast is served from 4am until 11am. Lunchtime dishes are served from 11am. There are options for vegetarian and gluten-free diets too. The menu is subject to rotation on a weekly basis with at least one item available depending on your date of travel. Please ask a member of lounge staff on arrival at the lounge for more details. All food and drink items are subject to availability at the time of your visit and may change without prior notice.

All the food and drink is included in the price but prosecco and champagne cost extra. While there are alcoholic drinks available with a substantial meal, we do advise you go easy on them!

Entertainment facilities

The lounge has plenty to keep you entertained with high-speed wifi and family booths with Smart TVs.

Disabled facilities

The lounge is able to accommodate disabled passengers. If you need any assistance, please let the lounge staff know in advance.

Business facilities

If you're flying out of Manchester on a business trip, the Aspire Lounge offers plenty of facilities to help you make the most of your time on the ground, including private work booths (subject to availability). There's also free wifi, phone and fax services throughout the lounge.

Directions

After passport control, pass through duty free and follow signs for executive lounges. Turn left and take the stairs between Next and Dixons up to the next floor where you will find the lounge.
