Children of all ages are welcome, however those over the age of 12 are classed as an adult and will need to pay the adult price.
Dresscode
The lounge has a smart-casual dress code and may refuse entry to customers not wearing suitable clothing. This may include clothes with slogans that may cause offence, football shirts, tracksuits, flip flops, clothing that exposes midriffs or upper thighs, or bare shoulders on men. Hen and stag do themed clothing and fancy dress is not permitted.
Food and drink
This lounge has a lot going on with food offering – with a selection of freshly prepared hot and cold food from the self-serve buffet, including pasta, curry, stew, hot breakfast items and pastries. There's also a pizza corner and burger bar serving pizzas, burgers, nachos and hot dogs.
In addition to the food, beer, wine are also complimentary and on a self-service basis. Also available are soft drinks, teas and coffees and fresh juices. Other wines, including sparkling, and cocktails are available at an additional cost.
While Plaza Express does not have a set drinks limit, they do have a duty of care to ensure guests are ‘fit to fly'. As such, they will monitor the consumption of alcohol and may restrict the service accordingly.
Entertainment facilities
There's so much going on, it's hard to choose between them. There are two tv's, a pool table to brush up your potting skills and a dedicated kid's play area with games and toys to keep the little ones entertained. Plus free wifi to keep your devices charged.
