Everything went smoothly, however on our return we couldn’t remember where we parked????.Going senile!. However the guy in parking control where we were by going back into cctv and tracking us! The overnight stay at the travelodge was excellent. Just refurbed, next to a Toby inn and just a 5 min drive to the airport. I’ve stayed at the Premier inn on the airport but I much prefer this option.

Everything went smoothly, as usual. Staff are very efficient, & drivers are helpful regarding reminding passengers to note where their vehicle is parked so as not to have problems finding it on their return.

We stayed at Newcastle Airport Travel Lodge on 13th Dec. The room and staff were great. The downside was the directions and signs. we spent 1 hour in the dark at 3am trying to find the Travel Lodge. and it was only by luck that we found the place after driving past it numerous times. There is a tiny sign at the bottom of a large Toby Carvary sign which we missed many times. the Travel Lodge needs bigger illuminated signs as a lot of guests will be like us arriving at night in the dark.

Hotel was nice. Room was clean and comfy. Staff were very helpful. Only drawback was there was no lounge area to sit in.
