Luton Airport has announced the addition of another new airline to those operating from its base, with Romanian airline Blue Air offering services.

From June 1, 2009, Romanian-based Blue Air will further expand the London Luton Airport route network into Romania with twice weekly services to and from Bacau Airport.

Renowned as one of the nation's most beautiful cities, Bacau is set in the heart of the historic Moldavia region, at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains.

Simon Harley, airline manager at Luton Airport, said: "We are delighted to announce the arrival of Blue Air at the Airport. Low fares flying continues to make business and leisure travel increasingly accessible to millions of Europeans, and the launch of this new service to Bacau provides yet more choice for our passengers."

Flights with Blue Air from Luton Airport are already on sale at www.blueair-web.com.
