Growth achieved 74.6%
In 1983 Holiday Extras revolutionised the Holiday add ons market by providing the first airport and car parking booking service for the travel industry.

With a shoestring budget of just £100 founder Gerry Pack has built the company to success. 23 years on and Holiday Extras is the market leader in its field. The company makes arrangements for more than 3.5million holidaymakers each year.

Holiday Extras netted pre-tax profits of 3.5 million last year. The company is no stranger to award winning - they have already come 23rd in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For list of 2006.

Continued growth over the last four years has seen the company increase turnover. In 2005 Holiday Extras acheived number 16 and this year they attain the number 9 spot in MegaGrowth.

The pace of growth at Holiday Extras is fast moving and the company atmosphere and ethos is dynamic. Holiday Extras now has a sister company in Germany and a sister company Airparks, which owns six UK airport car parks. They have recently won an exclusive contract with LEGOLAND holidays to sell their theme park packages.

Holiday Extras continues to innovate, they have launched into the short breaks market with their already successful London theatre breaks - Show and Stay - and theme park breaks - Play and Stay.

The company hasn't forgotten it's core products and has introduced 11 new hotels and 22 new car parks this year alone. All products are bookable through their website - which now brings in more than 80% of its business, and through travel agents, affiliates and their award winning call centre.

Holiday Extras and Airparks services aim to build a lasting relationship with customers by offering the best choice for the best products.
