London Dungeons

Beneath the paving stones of London's historic Southwark are the London Dungeons, telling the true horror tales that have spread over 2,000 years. Genuine stories of chillingly grim events in European history are reconstructed through a mix of live actors, shows and special effects to terrify and delight its guests in equal measure.

Over 40 exhibits let you journey back in time to retrace the steps of Jack the Ripper, see a torture chamber in action or learn of the great fire and other horrific punishments dealt throughout history such as beheading, boiling and drowning. There is a huge amount to see and do in the London Dungeons, as long as you can keep your hands from your eyes!

New for 2006 is the interactive feature telling the story of Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet Street. Can you keep your head and survive an encounter with Sweeney Todd or will this visit to the chair be your last?!
