Manchester Airport is now able to offer flights to three of the most popular Canadian destinations with the launch of a new programme from the web-based airline flyglobespan.
Holiday makers will now be able to fly from Manchester Airport to Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver with the new service. The flights from Manchester are part of a large UK-wide programme to Canada from 13 UK and Irish airports as the airline seeks to expand it's UK operations. Good news for passengers who'll be able to take advantage of the low prices.
Flyglobespan already operate a long-haul service from Manchester Airport. Last winter saw the introduction of a twice weekly service to Cape Town. The success of the route has encouraged the airline to add two flights a week to Johannesburg and to more than treble its Canadian programme. Tom Dalrymple, chairman of flyglobespan, believes his company has "a lean, very efficient organisation that allows us to offer extremely competitive fares in all our different classes."
