British tour operator First Choice is launching weekly charter flights between Ljubljana and London's Gatwick Airport. Ljubljana is located in an ideal position to promote the city as a destination for families heading off on holiday to the ski resort Kranjska Gora.
Kranjska Gora has developed into a major tourist and sports resort. The town hosts World Cup competitions in alpine skiing and ski flights. Besides the obvious attractions for sportspeople - Kranjska Gora offers holiday makers and families a wide range of attractions throughout the year.
Slovenia is a country with a standard of accommodation similar to Andorra for prices that equate to, or are lower than, those presented to visitors to Bulgaria. Over 2,000 British tourists will be flying from Gatwick Airport to Slovenia, on the new chartered route, between December 2006 and March 2007. #
