easyJet, the UK's largest airline, has announced that it is to operate three new routes from Manchester Airport.

Travellers from the north west will now be able to fly to Copenhagen (six times per week), Munich (four times per week) and Marrakech (three times per week).

Carly Brear, easyJet's UK commercial manager, said: "This is our most exciting route launch to date from Manchester as it represents our first significant offering of low-cost city break destinations from the airport.

"Both Copenhagen and Munich will be welcomed by the leisure travellers as exciting destinations now available for the first time at truly low-cost prices, whilst our frequent schedules will appeal to the cost conscious business traveller. In addition, Marrakech continues to grow in popularity and we are delighted to be able to offer this year-round sunshine destination to people of the north west and beyond."

The new flights will go on sale from next week at easyJet.com.

If you're heading away with easyJet this summer, remember to book great value airport parking at Airparks Manchester Ringway.
