Canada's Niagara Falls will be transformed into an even more dramatic spectacle this Christmas as it hosts the Winter Festival of Light.
This event is Canada's foremost celebration of light and illumination and runs until January 7th 2008.
Among the features of the event are over 125 animated lighting displays and three million tree and ground lights that go on display at the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland.
The Winter Festival of Light also boasts the famous Enchantment of Disney show and the world's largest illuminated Canadian-American flag.
Light shows are not the only entertainment options, however, as there are also flower shows, music concerts, fireworks displays and even a cheerleading contest.
This event has developed into a popular tradition in Canada, with over a million local people and visitors enjoying the shows every year.
