Winter sun holiday options unveiled

Tour operator Jet2holidays.com has launched a choice of 10 winter sun holiday destinations flying from six airports including Manchester and Edinburgh.

“We were above our sales forecast last winter and with 10 destinations this season, and a raft of excellent package deals, we are confident of another successful winter season," says Jet2holidays.com MD, Mandy Round.

Winter sun holiday breaks start from £104 for a week's self-catering at the three star Avenida Apartments in Benidorm flying from Leeds Bradford airport. A week's holiday staying on a full board basis at the three star Roc Flamingo hotel in the Costa del Sol also flying from Leeds Bradford costs from £289.

After feedback from customers, Jet2holidays has enhanced the mapping facilities on its website, giving holidaymakers better access to resorts and regions and making it easier to find specific destinations.

Jet2holidays is also offering holidays to New York from Leeds Bradford airport, and boxing fans booked on the first direct flight to New York on November 6th will have the opportunity to see the re-arranged fight between Joe Calzaghe and Roy Jones Jr on November 8th.

Four day breaks to New York from Leeds Bradford airport start from £699 including three nights hotel accommodation and all taxes and charges. Sister airline Jet2.com is also offering flight only deals to New York starting from £359.98 plus taxes.

“Madison Square Garden is the ultimate boxing venue and one that many sports fans dream of visiting. The Calzaghe fight is sure to generate a massive amount of interest with the fight tickets selling out fast," comments Jet2holidays.com MD, Richard Bodin.

Flights depart from Leeds Bradford airport for New York Newark airport on Thursday November 6th and 13th, and Thursday December 4th and 11th. Take off from Leeds Bradford is 09.00 arriving in New York at midday. Return flights leave Newark at 21.00 arriving at Leeds Bradford at 08.00 the following day.
