Free money for family holiday bookings

A tour operator is giving away free money for bookings on family holidays at the PortAventura theme park in Spain.

First Choice says it will give people who book a family holiday to one of the four hotels it offers at PortAventura on the Spanish Costa Dorada €100 to spend in one of the hotels bars and restaurants. This will give guests a combined choice of 13 restaurants and 11 bars during their holiday.

Bookings have to be made between today and April 30th but the holidays can be taken any time during the summer 09 season from May to October.

The hotels included in the special offer are the 4 Sun Hotel El Paso, a Mexican Hacienda-style property just moments from the theme park; the 4 Sun Hotel Caribe, which has a tropical theme and four freeform swimming pools; the 4 Sun Hotel PortAventura, with a Mediterranean theme and direct access to the theme park; and the brand new 4 Sun Plus Hotel Gold River which is said to resemble a town straight out of a cowboy film.

The Hotel Gold River will be open for First Choice guests from July 1st this year. Guests booking a package holiday at any of the four hotels will also receive exclusive on-site benefits including unlimited access to the PortAventura theme park.

Other benefits include at least one entrance per stay to the Caribe Aquatic Waterpark, and free access to the exclusive Beach Club which includes a further seven swimming pools, leisure facilities, and its own beach. Access to the Beach Club, which is part of the Hotel Gold River, will be available from May 16th until September 13th.

A seven night holiday at the 4 Sun Hotel El Paso starts from £455 per adult, £215 for the first child and £255 for the second child, based on two adults and two children sharing on a half board basis, and departing from Gatwick airport on May 1st 2009.

The price includes return flights, accommodation, in-resort transfers, exclusive benefits including unlimited access to PortAventura Theme Park, taxes/charges and fuel supplement.
