Singapore Airlines to showcase 'class beyond first'

Singapore Airlines has announced that it is to showcase its new suite at the 2007 World Travel Market.

Singapore Airlines will showcase its newest suite, which it claims will offer 'a class beyond first', at the World Travel Market (WTM) this year.

The new suite will only be available on flights using the Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger plane which made its maiden commercial flight earlier this month.

Luxury yacht designer Jean-Jacques Coste came up with the layout for the suite, which reportedly utilises space to fully enhance the flight experience.

Marvin Tan, Singapore Airlines' general manager for the UK and Ireland, said: "Our suites have raised the bar for premium air travel and brought new meaning to the concept of luxury in the sky.

"We are offering our customers unprecedented comfort, space and luxury by introducing what are effectively private cabins."

The carrier will also be displaying its new business class product at the WTM in London this year, which offers seats that can be transformed into a fully flat bed.
