Far East 'popular for newlyweds'

The Far East is one of the most popular regions in the world for honeymooners, it has been claimed.

The Far East, with its luxurious hotels and romantic aura, has developed into a big favourite with newlyweds, according to Hitched.co.uk.

A spokesperson for the company, which offers a free service helping couples with every aspect of their wedding, described some of the five-star hotels in offer in Asia and the Orient as "out of this world".

Despite the luxurious and relaxing experience on offer, many parts of the Far East are relatively affordable, Francesca Moore said.

"If you're talking about your budget, your money goes a long way in the Far East," she said. "Their five-star hotels are out of this world.

"Dubai is also a good destination as a stopover for honeymooners on their way to the Far East."

Ms Moore went on to explain that one holiday option for newlyweds is a 'twin-centre' honeymoon, whereby couples enjoy a city break in a destination such as Dubai or Singapore before heading to another location to relax.
