New video reports on holiday hotspots

Jet2holidays.com, sister company of airline Jet2, is launching a new feature on its website that will enable holidaymakers to check out video reports before choosing their destination.
The video upload facility at www.tv.jet2holidays.com will let viewers get a ‘holidaymaker’s-eye-view’ of what each featured resort has to offer. They will also be able to upload footage and share their own holiday experiences.
Jet2holidays.com has also announced the winner of its travel reporter competition. Adele Guillen will spend the next twelve months visiting the 18 holiday destinations offered by the company and recording her impressions of each.
“The reason why we launched the search was to find an individual who not only had a passion for travel and filming, but could also put themselves in the mindset of a holidaymaker and produce travel reports for our website” explains Jet2holidays.com general manager, Mandy Round.
“The response was fantastic and the final decision was really tough. However, we felt that Adele’s video demonstrated her real enthusiasm and confidence in front of the camera and we are confident she will be an extremely competent travel reporter. We are thoroughly looking forward to sharing her experiences over the next few months,” Round adds.
Adele speaks fluent Spanish and formerly worked as a travel rep in Mexico. Over the course of the next year she will be visiting the 18 holiday destinations currently offered by Jet2holidays.com. These include Sharm el Sheikh (pictured), Paphos in Cyprus, Crete, the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, the Algarve and the Spanish Costas.
