Commercial Director for Holiday Extras®
Following study for his Law degree, Matthew joined Saga Holidays on a graduate training scheme in 1994. During his seven years with Saga he took on a number of roles including Head of Flight Sales, Head of cruise yield management and latterly, Long Haul Contracts Manager.
In 2000, Matthew joined Holiday Extras® as Head of the Commercial team, since then he has focused on developing Holiday Extras airport and new business hotel portfolio. In 2008 Matthew took on airport parking, lounges, rail and coach as well.
Matthew has been instrumental in forging partnerships with key hotel groups and is now instrumental in continuing the partnerships with the parking suppliers - ensuring that Holiday Extras maintains its offering of 'best product,best choice, best price' as well as driving growth in new niche marketplaces.
Following a six month secondment as Head of Call Centre, Matthew was promoted to the position of Commercial Director in early 2007.
Matthew and his partner Helen have a young daughter Molly.
