Hotel information
Can I request a cot in my hotel room?
If you have selected a 1-year-old or younger in your initial search, the hotels that appear will allow you to bring your own travel cot. To ensure there is enough room, kindly let us know in advance if you plan to bring one.
If you require a cot, please fill out our contact us form and one of our friendly team members will reach out to the hotel on your behalf.
We kindly ask that you please bring your own cot bedding, as hotels do not provide this.
Do hotels offer breakfast?
All hotels in our short break packages include a delicious breakfast. We recommend checking the specific hotel details during booking to confirm.
Can I book an accessible room?
Yes, we have a number of hotels with fully accessible rooms. How to Get to the Studio Tour
What is the nearest train station?
The nearest station is Watford Junction, with regular direct trains from London Euston taking less than 20 minutes. A shuttle bus service runs frequently from Watford Junction to the Studio Tour, taking approximately 15 minutes.
Can I drive to the Studio Tour?
Yes, the Studio Tour is easily accessible by car and is located just off the A405, near Junctions 19 or 20 of the M25. Follow the brown tourist signs for directions.
How to get there from my hotel?
Transport between the hotel and the Studio Tour is not included in our packages. Here's how you can get there:
- By Car: Parking is free and located next to the Studio Tour. Use postcode WD25 7LR for your satnav. Follow the brown road signs marked "Warner Bros. Studio Tour" as you approach. Have your booking confirmation ready to show the Car Parking Team.
- Drop-offs/Pick-ups: A designated area is available for drop-offs and pick-ups using the same postcode.
- By Train: The nearest station is Watford Junction, with direct trains from London Euston (20 minutes) and Birmingham New Street (1 hour).
- Shuttle Bus: A free shuttle bus operates between Watford Junction and the Studio Tour every 30 minutes, taking about 15 minutes. Simply present your valid Studio Tour ticket or booking confirmation to board.
When should I arrive for my Studio Tour?
We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your booked timeslot to ensure a smooth entry and allow time for check-in procedures.
Car Parking
Does the Studio Tour have parking?
Yes, free parking is available for all visitors and is located right next to the Studio Tour. Use postcode WD25 7LR for your satnav, and follow the brown road signs marked "Warner Bros. Studio Tour" as you approach. Upon arrival, have your booking confirmation ready to present to the Car Parking Team.
Are there electric vehicle charging points?
Yes, Pod Point charging stations are available for electric vehicles in the car park. To use this service, visitors must download the Pod Point Open Charge app on their smartphone. Please note that you must provide your own EV cable to charge your vehicle. As Pod Point is a third-party service provider, its use is subject to Pod Point's terms and conditions, which can be found here.
Is there a drop-off point?
Yes, a designated area is available for drop-offs and pick-ups, accessible using postcode WD25 7LR. Visitors must show their booking confirmation upon arrival.
If you are not visiting the Studio Tour, you are welcome to drop off visitors before the car park entrance.
Tour Information
How long does the Studio Tour take?
The Studio Tour is a self-guided experience, and most visitors spend around 3–4 hours exploring. However, there is no set time limit, so you are welcome to stay longer if you wish. Take your time to enjoy the intricate details of the sets, props, and behind-the-scenes exhibits at your own pace.
Are there any special effects?
Yes, special effects lighting and haze are used in some of the immersive elements of the Studio Tour. The haze is created with a water-based fluid to generate a smoke-like, cloud effect, enhanced by lighting.
If you have concerns or would like to avoid these areas, please inform a member of staff upon arrival, and they will assist you.
What are the Studio Tour opening times?
Opening times vary throughout the year. To view the most up-to-date schedule, please visit the official opening times page.
Will my bag be checked when I visit?
Yes, for safety reasons, all bags may be checked upon entry, and suitcases or large bags will go through baggage scanners.
Can I bring a camera or video camera?
Yes, handheld cameras and mobile devices are allowed for photos and videos in most areas of the Studio Tour, except for the pre-show cinema and green screen areas. However, tripods, drones, and other specialist photographic equipment are not permitted anywhere on-site, including exterior areas like the car park.
Can I take a pushchair?
Yes, pushchairs and buggies are welcome throughout the Studio Tour as it is a self-guided walking experience. If needed, you can store your buggy or pushchair in the free cloakroom, subject to space availability.
Tour Accessibility
How can I request a carer refund?
Carers who provide assistance to visitors can request a carer ticket refund. Proof of entitlement is required upon entry to the Studio Tour to qualify. The Studio Tour accepts the following forms of documentation as proof:
- A letter or notice of entitlement for Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
- A letter from your doctor confirming the need for a carer.
- A Blue Parking Badge or Freedom Pass.
- A DID (Disabled Identification) Card or Access Card.
- An international equivalent of any of the above documents.
To initiate your refund, please complete the carer refund request form.
Is the Studio Tour wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the majority of the Studio Tour is suitable for wheelchairs. However, some areas, such as Diagon Alley's cobbled street and the Great Hall's slate floor, may be more challenging to navigate. Manual wheelchairs are available to borrow upon request.
Are there seating options during the tour?
Yes, there is seating available throughout the Studio Tour. Additionally, free lightweight foldable stools can be requested from staff on the day of your visit.
Is accessible parking available?
Yes, a number of blue disability badge parking bays are located close to the main entrance for the convenience of eligible visitors. Parking is free, but visitors must bring and display a valid disabled parking badge on the day of their visit. For additional assistance, speak to a member of the Car Parking Team upon arrival.
Are there accessible toilet facilities?
Yes, accessible toilets are available throughout the Studio Tour, each equipped with a shelf for medical supplies. A Changing Place facility, located in the lobby and accessed with a RADAR key, offers a hoist, height-adjustable changing bench, toilet, and washbasin. Please bring your own slings for the hoist, as they are not provided.
Can I bring an assistance dog?
Trained guide dogs, assistance dogs, buddy dogs, hearing dogs, and medical alert dogs are welcome. For guide dogs in training, please ensure they wear their official 'guide dog in training' blue jacket. Water bowls can be provided upon request.
Food and Drink
Can I bring my own food?
You are welcome to bring your own food to consume in the Backlot area or outside picnic area.
Is there a café at the Studio Tour?
Yes, the Studio Tour features several dining options: the Studio Café and Starbucks in the lobby, as well as the Backlot Café, located halfway through the tour. Fresh food is available, including gluten and nut free products.
Can I purchase Butterbeer™?
Yes, Butterbeer™ is available for purchase at the Studio Tour. You can enjoy this iconic drink at the Backlot Café or purchase it in a souvenir tankard to take home.
Receiving your tickets
When will I receive my tickets?
After booking your short break, you will receive an E-Ticket voucher along with your booking confirmation via email. This voucher will serve as your entry ticket to the Studio Tour.
If you do not receive your E-Ticket voucher, please check your spam or junk folder, or contact our guest experience team for assistance.
Do I need to print my tickets?
No, it's not necessary to print your tickets. You can show your E-Ticket voucher on your mobile device upon arrival at the Studio Tour.
Your Booking Confirmation
Can my booking confirmation be resent?
If you need your confirmation email resent to the original booking email address, simply complete the Resend Confirmation Form with the following details:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Booking Reference
- Email Address
- Stay Date
Once submitted, your confirmation email will be resent as soon as possible.
When will I get my booking confirmation?
As soon as you've booked your short break, you will receive an E-Ticket voucher along with your booking confirmation via email. If you do not receive your E-Ticket voucher, please check your spam or junk folder, or contact our guest experience team for assistance.
Amend or Cancel
Can I cancel my booking for a refund?
Once booked, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London short break packages are non-amendable and non-cancellable. This means that changes to the booking, including date, time, or hotel selection, cannot be made, and refunds are not available.
To ensure a smooth booking process, we recommend double-checking your travel plans, preferred dates, and chosen hotel options before confirming your booking. If you have any questions or require assistance during the booking process, our guest experience team will be happy to help.
Can I amend my booking?
No, once booked, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London short break packages are non-amendable. This includes changes to the date, time, or hotel selection.
