The show has original songs and lyrics written by award winning composer, Stephen Schwartz who's credits include Godspell and the Disney animated films Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Stephen Scwartz uses the music to explore some of the deeper issues and emotions of the story, allowing the audience to fully empathise with the two main characters.
