Cardiff review online bookings

cardiff

Last month, the company which provided online bookings for Cardiff International Airport went out of business. It was announced that Travel Worldwide, which operated the bookings system on the cwlfly.com website had ceased trading.

Steve Hodgetts, business development director at Cardiff International Airport, stated:

"We are disappointed that the operator of cwlfly.com who operated the site alongside their own has ceased trading and the issues this may cause for existing customers".

Customers that had booked using the cwlfly.com bookings system should contact Travel Worldwide on 0871 989 9928. They should also contact their airline to ensure they have a record of booking and contact details. If there are any queries, call ABTA on 01243 621500 or e-mail abtaclaims@cegagroup.com. For claim information quote ABTA claims number AB29059.

The rights to cwlfly.com have reverted back to the airport, which is currently reviewing the the bookings element of the website and whether to re-introduce the service. In a brief statement the airport said:

"The cessation of the bookings system does not have any direct impact on Cardiff International Airport's operations and viability".
