From the 15th of December this year Birmingham Airport will add Turkish Airlines to the list of high calibre airlines operating from the airport. Turkish Airlines will give travellers from the Midlands airport the opportunity to fly directly to Istanbul for the first time.
The airline will operate five weekly flights to the Turkish capital, as well as offering onward flights to the Middle East and the Far East. Turkish Airlines is Turkey's flagship airline and a member of the Star Alliance global airline grouping, achieving standards similar to those of Air France, British Airways and Emirates Airlines.
