"The coach driver to London stopped 3 times for his cigarette breaks making an excuse that he had to have a break after 2 hours by law (how is it the return driver only stopped once?!) Therefor we were 1/2 hr late arriving also the Heathrow to Gatwick driver was very rude to several people & appeared a racist to his foreign passengers!.
The room at the Skylane was terrible (paper peeling & holes in the walls & ceiling)
However our return journey was good & far more comfortable on a double decker coach & we arrived earlier than expected."

"We enjoyed a good meal,a comforable night and an easy morning t the Sofitel before catching our flight after a short walk to the North Terminal. What a difference from the early morning battle on the M25 we've previously had! I would have liked to have had the upgraded room quoted at the time of booking rather than at check in. Check in staff however were cheerful and efficient."

"The Gatwick Moat House met our needs extremely well. They provided us with 2 travel cots, a great breakfast and I was even able to get milk for the baby from the bar. Check in was rather slow, however, due to the volume of people checking in and very few staff on duty but this was only a minor drawback."

"We booked one nights accomodation with holiday parking at The Cambridge Hotel using Holiday Extras. The staff on arrival were very helpful, our room was a family room which consisted of a set uf bunk beds and a double bed, all extremley clean and very comfortable. The hotel operate a request service for transfer to and from the airport, this journey is only a few minutes and using this set-up meant we were taken and picked up at a time that suited us perfectly. We had no waiting around at the airport upon our return journey, we just telephoned and they came!! Just what you want after a days' travelling.We were so impressed we've already booked The Cambridge for our next holiday in May. Sarah Ramsay"

"The whole dropping the car off and collecting the car again at the end of a long flight is always the worst bit of a holiday-dragging suitcases and child on and off shuttle buses! The meet and greet facility was excellent and meant none of that-someone waiting for you to take your car at the airport and someone else bringing it to the door on your return to the airport. Can't possibly imagine ever doing anything else in future!"
