What is Wicked about?
Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked is set years before Dorothy and her house land in Oz and centres around the unlikely friendship of two girls, Elphaba and Glinda, who first meet as students. Their adventures bring them to a crossroads and their lives begin to take very different paths. Wicked invites audiences to discover that they haven't been told the whole story about Glinda The Good and The Wicked Witch of the West and challenges our preconceptions of what is 'good' and what is 'wicked'.
