What is the best time to travel to Thailand?

Even if you have already decided to visit Thailand, you may still be wondering what time of year to book your trip. Before you book your flights, here is some information to help you decide how to make the most of your trip.

The climate differs between regions of Thailand, especially in the South. Generally speaking, the best time to visit Thailand is between November and April. In these months, it is known to be cool and dry before the monsoon season of the summer and autumn. To beat the crowds, the best months are November and December as these months are too early in the season for the majority of holiday-makers.

When are the hottest months in Thailand?

The hottest months are between March and June. However, the monsoon season intersects the hottest months and so this must be considered when you are thinking of travelling. April and May are the hottest months in the warm season, with the height of their temperatures reaching 32 degrees. It might be best to travel in early April when it is still hot but before the monsoon season begins.

How expensive is it to travel to Thailand?

Food and accommodation are extremely cheap when compared to most european countries, and it's possible to find some very attractive deals on hotel rooms. As with any holiday, you should consider taking out appropriate worldwide travel insurance that can cover you in the event of an emergency.
