Ways To Protect Yourself from Coronavirus

Although there is no cure for the coronavirus at the moment, there are ways that you can help to protect yourself from the virus;

  • Spend at least 20 seconds washing your hands with soap and hot water. Do this regularly throughout the day.
  • Use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser if you have been out in public, especially if you've used public transport.
  • Catch coughs and sneezes in tissues, which should then be swiftly disposed of.
  • If possible, avoid contact with anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19.
  • If you show symptoms of coronavirus, stay indoors and contact NHS 111.
  • Stay up-to-date with government advice and updates.
