Getting to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is in Leavesden, near Watford, around 20 miles north-west of central London.

Choose your route before you travel and allow enough time to arrive for the entry time shown on your ticket. An Official Short Break Package from Holiday Extras includes Studio Tour admission, your chosen hotel stay and breakfast. Travel between your airport, hotel and the Studio Tour is not included unless your package says otherwise.

Watford Junction is the nearest railway station. The complimentary official shuttle bus connects the station with the Studio Tour.

Direct trains from London Euston to Watford Junction usually take around 20 minutes. Other services make more stops and take longer, so check the route before boarding.

Oyster cards are valid between London Euston and Watford Junction. Contactless payment is also available on many services, but check the accepted payment method and fare for your chosen train before travelling.

Direct trains from Birmingham New Street to Watford Junction take around one hour. For other journeys, plan a route to Watford Junction and check whether you need to change trains.

The electric Studio Tour shuttle bus is included with a valid Studio Tour ticket. The journey from Watford Junction takes around 15 minutes.

Buses run at least every 30 minutes from 9.20am, with earlier services from 8.15am when the first Studio Tour entry is at 9am. The last return shuttle leaves when the Studio Tour closes. Times can change, so check the live tracker and opening calendar before your visit.

The shuttle bus does not collect guests from hotels.

Driving can be the simplest option if you are travelling with children or luggage, staying outside central London or continuing to another UK destination.

Use postcode WD25 7LR and follow the brown road signs for Warner Bros. Studio Tour as you approach Leavesden.

The Studio Tour is less than three miles from the M1 and M25. The best motorway exit depends on your direction of travel, so check the official route before setting off.

The Studio Tour is next to the working Warner Bros. Studios. Follow signs for the Studio Tour car park rather than the multi-storey car parks used by production crews.

Standard parking is free in the on-site car park. Have your booking confirmation ready to show the Car Parking Team when you arrive.

Blue Badge parking bays are available near the entrance. Display your valid badge and ask the Car Parking Team if you need help.

Paid Priority Parking is closer to the entrance and must be added to your Studio Tour booking in advance. It cannot be purchased on the day.

A pre-booked licensed taxi can be helpful when travelling from an airport, carrying luggage or visiting as a family or group.

Continue from St Pancras to London Euston, then take a train to Watford Junction and the complimentary Studio Tour shuttle.

St Pancras and Euston are close, but allow time to leave the Eurostar terminal and make the connection. A taxi may be easier with luggage; walking or London Underground options are also available.

Check the hotel’s location against your chosen route before booking. A hotel close to Watford Junction can make the train-and-shuttle journey easier, while a central London hotel may suit the rest of a London break.
