Family holidays for half term and Halloween at PortAventura

Popular family holiday theme park and resort PortAventura, on the Spanish Costa Dorada, has announced details of its Halloween packages for 2009.

Between September 26 and November 22 this year PortAventura will be filled with the living dead and other creepy characters, perfectly timed for the October half term holiday.

Brave guests can experience the haunted passageway Horror en Penitence; terrifying rides like the Furious Baco; the outdoor ghost walk, La Selva del Miedo; and chilling shows such as La Hora Gore, Terror en el Lago and Vamp Frenzee.

For little monsters, La leyenda de Jack el Linterna - a spooky Halloween puppet show - and the daily parade of ghoulish legends will keep spines tingling.

Dads who want to dance with devils and mummies who like to mingle with monsters will appreciate the Hotel Burn in the new Gold River Hotel complex. Conveniently located next to a cemetery, chill seekers can request wake-up calls from resident ghosts.
