    What is Holiday Extras doing to combat coronavirus?

    For 37 years Holiday Extras has been proudly helping our customers enjoy hassle-free travel, and for 37 years we’ve done so by finding the very best airport parking, hotels, lounges, insurance and more for millions of UK travellers.


    Travel is temporarily paused while we all stay home to stop the spread of the coronavirus. In these unprecedented circumstances for the travel industry, we believe the best help we can offer our customers is straightforward, hassle-free cancellation of the holiday extras they booked with us but can no longer use.


    We’ve therefore asked our suppliers to cancel all bookings (except insurance bookings) our customers have made with us for travel dates from the start of April to the end of May. We will be contacting every customer to arrange a refund in the form of a voucher that they can use against a holiday extra when travel resumes. If you still have a booking with us for travel in April or May, you’ll therefore receive an email cancelling it in the coming days. 


    As we all deal with the challenge of the coronavirus, we’re doing our bit by asking our team to work from home, prioritising responding to our most vulnerable customers and the most urgent enquiries. In order to help them do that, during April and May, we’re temporarily closing our phone lines.


    The best way to ask us for help is using our online support tools, where we are confident you can find all the support you’ll need.


    If you’re already making plans for a trip when all this is over (great to hear!) we’re taking bookings for June 2020 onwards and you can book online, with flexibility to change that booking, for free, if your travel plans change.
