Barbados Holiday Competition
1. In order to enter the competition, entrants must enter a valid email address
and by doing so are agreeing to receive regular email communications from
Holiday Extras and Teletext Holidays. Should entrants no longer wish to receive emails from
Holiday Extras and Teletext Holidays, they may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
2. Teletext does not sell or share your data with any other company. However for
the prize winner only, we may pass your details on to our service providers
and agents for the purposes of sending and booking the prize on our behalf.
3. This holiday departs from London Gatwick airport on Wednesday 7th
November 2012. Unfortunately, alternative departure dates are not available.
4. The prize is for two adults for 7 nights at the 4* Almond Beach Club & Spa,
Barbados. This prize includes return flights from London Gatwick airport.
5. Spending money, insurance, airport taxes and any other expenses incurred
such as telephone calls, laundry, food, drinks, etc are not included and are the
responsibility of the prize winner to settle. Tips are not included.
6. The winner must provide their own travel insurance.
7. Prize is based on two people sharing a double or twin room.
8. The selected winner will be put in contact with the tour operator to book the
holiday.
9. The closing date is August 16, 2012 at 11.59pm (UK time).
10. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the UK to enter
this competition. Entrants must also hold a valid passport.
11. The competition is not open to employees associated with Teletext Limited,
and their associated companies or their families.
12. Prizes may not be transferred to any other person.
13. There are no cash alternatives or alternative prizes available.
14. In the event of the advertised competition prize being unavailable Teletext
Ltd reserves the right to offer an alternative prize or prizes of equal or greater
value.
15. The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries and will be
formally notified (by email or phone) within 28 days of the closing date. The
first selected name will be the winner of the holiday prize.
16. The winner of the holiday prize will be notified by email and must respond
within 30 days to claim this holiday. This holiday must be booked by Monday
17th September 2012.
17. Teletext’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with
publicity.
19. Use of false name or addresses, for example, a name by which the entrant is
not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize. Teletext
Ltd reserves the right to oblige any potential winner to provide documentary
proof of their identity and age and address as directed by Teletext before
such person may claim their prize. In certain circumstances, Teletext shall, at
its discretion, require any person to present themselves in person supported
by such documentation for identification purposes (we will reimburse all
reasonable travel costs incurred) prior to releasing the prize.
20. Teletext Ltd. shall be entitled to terminate or modify the promotion or to
modify these rules at any time prior to the closing date by publishing any such
modification or termination on the Teletext website. Entry in the competition
implies acceptance of these rules.
21. Entrants may only enter this competition once.
22. These rules are governed by English law.
23. The promoter of the competition is Holiday Extras, Ashford Road,
Newingreen, Hythe, Kent, CT21 4JF and the prize is provided by Teletext
Limited, Building 10, 566 Chiswick High Road, London, W5 5TS.
