KLM - Best Airline for Value for Money

KLM was founded in 1919, and is the oldest airline still operating under its original name. A merger with Air France in 2004 helped the carrier move closer to its goal of being the market-leader in the European aviation industry. The most recent figures for July 2012 show that the airline flew 7.43 million passengers to over 150 destinations across numerous continents.

Why does KLM represent value for money?

KLM offers a best price guarantee for travellers booking online. The guarantee applies to the same KLM flight, itinerary, cabin and booking class - if you find a lower price than you have already booked, then you can file a refund claim.

KLM's comprehensive transfer services via Amsterdam Airport Schiphol form the foundation of a high-quality network of direct services to the world. Also, KLM's involvement in the ‘SkyTeam’ partnership, an alliance between a number of international airlines, gives their customers greater global connectivity alongside a more efficient check-in procedure.

Has KLM won any other awards?

AIR FRANCE KLM Group was awarded the Business Airline of the Year at the 2012 Business Travel Awards. At the Skytrax Awards 2012 they received an award for ‘Best Airline Staff Service in Europe’ and, for the second time, Air France-KLM picked up the trophy for the “best sustainable development report” awarded by the French Accountants Society.
