Disruption at Birmingham Airport

Today, Birmingham Airport was evacuated following a report of a suspicious vehicle. All operations were temporarily suspended and flights in and out of the airport were affected. The airport is now re-opened and returning to normal, but delays and cancellations are expected.

We are here to help our customers affected by the disruption. This page provides the quickest and easiest ways to get help with your Holiday Extras booking.

Customers with a booking and due to travel

Customers with Flextras: Free cancellations bookings can cancel any time up to the booked day and time of travel.

Flextras: Saver customers can cancel for a voucher to use on the same product.

If you need to make any changes to a booking head to your trips page to change dates, times, terminals, parking options, or cancel your booking if you need to.

Customers who have returned later than planned due to the disruption

If your return to the UK has been delayed and you have a booking with us that includes parking, we've agreed with our partners at Airparks, Maple Parking and NCP Birmingham Airport that they will not charge for any extra dates incurred as a result of this disruption. There's no need to contact us – we will automatically waive any additional parking charges.

If you need to get in touch

Use our simple online tool to let us know if there's anything you need help with. Our agents will get back to you as soon as possible, typically first thing in the morning.
