Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be making a sensational return to the West End , playing at the Adelphi theatre in London. The sensational musical, with original lyrics and composition from Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, tells the biblical tale of Joseph.

The star of Joseph will be the winner of BBC1's talent show 'Any Dream Will Do', hitting UK television in the Spring of 2007.

The Building Design of the Adelphi Theatre

The Adelphi Theatre is an excellent example of Art Deco style. In common with many London theatres, the Adelphi has a plain exterior with a fine, detailed interior.
In the 1990's the theatre was refurbished for the opening of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical 'Sunset Boulevard'.

The History of the Adelphi Theatre

The Adelphi Theatre is located in a Grade II listed Art Deco building on The Strand in London's West End.
There has been a theatre on the site since 1806. In 1930 the Adelphi theatre was refurbished and updated to accommodate larger audiences and address safety issues. The structural walls and the entrance at the back of the theatre are all that survive from the old building.
