Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is set to take the West End by storm at the Adelphi Theatre in 2007. With the help of BBC1's talent show 'Any Dream Will Do' where the nation's potential stars will audition before a panel of judges, hoping to land the dream role. Joseph has been performed by such big-name stars as Jason Donovan, Donny Osmond, Darren Day and Phillip Schofield.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - Music The music for Joseph is most notable for Lloyd Webber's use of various composition styles. From the rock 'n' roll influenced 'Song of the King' to the funky disco tune 'Go, Go, Go Joseph', the show has a tune for every taste in music.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice teamed up for their second musical in 1968, producing a short cantata for a school performance. The show received huge acclaim and grew to become 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' with several new songs.
In 1972 at the Edinburgh Festival, Joseph received much attention and shortly after was transferred to the Old Vic where its reputation grew further. It reached Broadway in 1982, and was often billed as a sequel to Jesus Chist Superstar.
The entire story is sung throughout so there is no spoken dialogue in the script. The show runs for ninety minutes without an interval and has been performed by countless amateur and professional productions worldwide.
