This show within a show is kickstarted by Bob Martin (known as 'The Man In The Chair') discussing his passion for theatre with the audience in a monologue fashion. He digs out his most favourite cast album and when plays it on his phonograph the musical suddenly bursts to life within his front room. The tale of a brazen Broadway starlet unfolds as she decides whether to give up the glitz and glam to marry a handsome young man she hardly knows. The Plot has many comic twists and turns invoving mistaken identity, spit-takes, gangsters, her cigar chomping producer, a latin lithario and many other memorable characters. The comedy is futher enhanced by 'The Man In The Chair' as he is able to freeze the performance at any given moment to inject his own personal opinion for example mid scene he says "I dont like this scene".

The London Production will feature the West End legend Elaine Paige and the sensational Bob Martin will continue his role as 'The Man in the Chair'.
