Those wishing to drive to and from their theatre or hotel are advised to check whether they will be liable to pay the London Congestion Charge
The Congestion Charge is a measure put in place to control the traffic in central London. Owing to the vast amount of private vehicles in the capital, the government have decided to implement a further charge of £8 a day for all cars that enter the zone between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
Mainly occupying the north side of the River Thames, the Congestion Charge applies to all public roads between Kennsington in the west and Tower Bridge in the east. As this area encompasses the majority of the West End's Theatreland, almost all of the theatres and hotels we have on offer are affected by the Congestion Charge.
Please Note: As the Congestion Charge is implemented daily, if you drive up into the capital before 6:00pm on the first day you will need to pay that day's charge as well as the following day's charge.
Failure to pay the Congestion Charge by midnight of the first day will result in a £100 fine.
