Amra-Faye Wright is currently starring as Velma Kelly in the West-End hit show, Chicago. Amra-Faye has taken on the role of the fame-seeking murderess in Broadway, the West-End and Johannesburg as well as in UK and European tours.

South-African born, Amra-Faye Wright is a familiar face on both the British and international theatre scene. She has starred in shows such as Grease and Footloose. This talented actress has also written and performed in her own one-woman shows. The singing, dancing and acting talents of Amra-Faye Wright are perfectly presented in Chicago: the tale of two murderesses dreaming of fame and freedom.

A mother of two teenage girls, 44 year-old Amra-Faye sees her latest role in the West-End as one of the highlights of her career. The star takes on the role once played by Catherine-Zeta Jones in the film adaptation of Chicago.
