Susan has landed her dream job playing Sandra Dee after winning the reality TV programme "Grease Is The Word", she is set to star in David Ian's new version of 'Grease' in the West End this summer. Susan will star alongside Danny Bayne, her original partner in the "Grease Is The Word" competition.
Susan Mc Fadden was born and raised in Dublin and is the only daughter of Mairead and Brandon Mc Fadden. She has one older brother, which any "Grease is the Word" viewer will know is Brian Mc Fadden, former Westlife singer. Susan has nurtured her singing talent for over 20 years and attended the Billy Barry Stage School in which she had singing lessons and dance tuition.
Susan has never appeared on a West End stage before and has narrowly missed out on a number of parts in West End shows. However she is no stranger to televisual competitions as she took part in the Irish version of 'Pop Idol' called "You're a Star", but didn't managed to reach the final. Susan also appeared on Irish television in a mini series called "Relative Strangers" in which she played the role of Jenny. When embarking on her 'Grease' adventure Susan was worried about her brother Brian's fame affecting her chances in the Grease competition, she put pressure on herself to prove her worth on the show. However Susan's natural talents shone through and the public voted her their Sandy, landing her dream job is only the start of her promising theatrical career.
